We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Partner.The position is responsible for providing financial expertise and associated support services to the AV Divisions, including budgeting, forecasting, planning and business advice.
The role is instrumental in developing strong, effective, constructive working relationships between Finance and the Divisions.About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Planning & Corporate Finance, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establishing a partnering relationship with divisional leaders to understand their finance requirements and providing relevant advice, support and information.
- Provide strategic financial business solutions underpinned by pragmatism, commercial and financial realities, and a shared understanding of AV's performance priorities.
- Partner closely with managers on budget development, forecasting and monthend and reporting processes.
- Provide input into the design of commercial and financial strategies across Corporate Services and allocated divisions.
- Align and embed various standard financial methods, frameworks, systems, models and calculations, into divisions to assist in the decisionmaking process.
- Drive continuous improvement by researching best practices, evaluating emerging trends and identifying and responding to strategic issues impacting on the Corporate Services environment.
About you
- Significant demonstrated knowledge and relevant experience working within a complex business environment in a financial and commercial role.
- Previous partnering and relationship building experience at senior stakeholder level.
- Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving abilities.
- High competency level of analysis, interpretation and reporting.
- Strategic thinking and decision making abilities.
