Description

Omico's Australian Genomic Cancer Medicine Program (AGCMP) encompasses several cohort studies to improve the understanding, early detection, prevention and management of cancer.

This includes the MoST, RisC, SMOC and Cancer Screening Program (CaSP) cohorts, which recruit patients across Australia. A Research Co-ordinator is required to be part of the AGCMP.


THE OPPORTUNITY


The Research Coordinator will assist in coordination of activities associated with clinical follow-up of patients screened through the MoST Program nationally.

This will include contact with site staff and patients, liaising with clinicians and medical services, data quality checking, and study reporting.


Salary:
$65, % super + salary packaging

Employment Type: 6 month full time contract (with view to extend)

WHAT YOU WILL DO- Coordinate clinical follow-up for all MoST Program patients- Collect clinical data from hospitals and medical centres through stakeholder engagement- Perform data entry using databases such as Progeny- Action data queries as requested- Perform data cleaning exercises- Prepare reports- Ensure data security is maintained to protect patient records, both physically and electronically- Assist with coordination and administration of associated projects


ABOUT YOU

The key skills and experience include:

  • An appropriate science, health or related degree, or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in using Excel
  • Consistent data interpretation
  • Confidence to liaise with a variety of health and research professionals
  • Strong commitment to quality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
