A member of the Global HSE Team and reporting directly report to the Manager HSE Systems, this role is responsible for leading the delivery of BlueScope's HSE reporting, data assurance, communications and associated activities and provides meaningful and targeted data and information reports and disclosure to internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and developing internal and external HSE reports including Dashboards, QBR, Sustainability Reports, BSL results and Worldsteel
  • Coordinating HSEC and ELT meeting agendas and paper submissions
  • Managing HSE data verification and assurance. Ensuring relevance of information, driving continuous improvement, as well as the awareness of any potential deficiencies
  • Managing the 2L Group HSE Awards Programs and any external HSE submissions (e.g. Worldsteel). Support 1L Business Units HSE for alignment and consistency
  • Integrating and aligning H&S, Environmental and Process Safety data verification and assurance processes with Sustainability Governance Framework
  • Ownership of HSE Reporting standards and associated tools; ensuring they are maintained and reviewed with stakeholder for continuous improvement

This role can be based in our Melbourne CBD, Wollongong or Brisbane office with occasional domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

With a focus on leading the HSE reporting processes to support our strategic goals, this role requires someone who as an excellent eye for detail, strong communications skills, and exemplary stakeholder management skills.


You will also have:

  • Previous experience in business reporting activities including audits and reports
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar
  • Experience in global reporting processes
