Description

The role Reporting to the Manager, Office of the Voluntary Assisted Dying Review Board, the Assistant Policy Officer will assist with research and analysis of policy issues and contribute to the preparation of high-quality reports, briefing notes and correspondence as required.

You will also undertake effective and efficient administrative and governance support, including organisation of meetings and preparation of meeting papers.

As well as any other work as directed by the Director or Managers, Voluntary Assisted Dying, Clinical Excellence Queensland.

In addition, you will establish and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively to assist in achieving the team's objectives.

The successful personYour strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills will be required to provide advice to members within the team and to work autonomously and as a team You will also have the ability to liaise effectively and provide information and feedback, to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

You will also have demonstrated personal organisation skills including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and set priorities to achieve results within tight deadlines in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
