The Role:


The HR Services Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership to and development of the HR Services function, which supports the centralisation of HR Services to the Australia Operational sites and Regional Office.

This role provides guidance and direction across the region to HR Service Delivery, and Global HR Efficiency and Effectiveness.

This role works cross-functionally with Corporate and Sites to optimise service delivery, enhance the employee experience and provide excellent customer service.

This is a fixed term position, ending on 15 March 2024, based in our Subiaco Office. Flexible and remote working opportunities are available.


Key Duties Include:


  • Provide leadership to the HR Services Team to ensure efficient and accurate execution of;
  • HR Administration duties, which will include tasks related to producing employment contracts, managing personnel files and processing employment changes and terminations in line with payroll deadlines.
  • Data management support across Human Resources, including data entry into CORE (Successfactors), data clean up and integrity.
  • Management of organisational charts and HR reporting utilising SAP and other company systems.
  • Develop and execute process improvement, innovation and strategic and tactical plans for the HR Services function.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals, ensuring the role is fostering an inclusive high performing team.
  • Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement, HR team collaboration and change management that supports the centralised support model.
  • Provide hands on HR leadership to enable execution and communication of programs, as well as support workforce understanding of HR systems and processes.
  • Represent the Australian region to support HR projects and system implementations.
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of requirements related to HR, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance, especially with respect to all applicable federal, state and local labor laws.
  • Acts as a leader and advocate for innovation within HR service delivery.

Your Skills, Training and Experience Checklist:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR/IR or related field.
  • Extensive HR experience including in a leadership position.
  • Familiarity with related Employee Relations and legislation.
  • Demonstration of continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to establish scale services in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Versatility to work across operational and strategic activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage ambiguity and associated change.
  • Effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Successful leadership, reputation for engaging and developing team members.
  • SAP and Success Factors experience is highly regarded.
  • Proof of covid vaccination.
