Emmaus College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational ecumenical College which fosters Christian unity through its active partnership with the local Anglican, Catholic, Lutheran and Uniting churches.

Currently, the College has a P-12 enrolment of approximately 1570 students.
Emmaus is located on 21 hectares in a quiet bushland setting at 48 East Street, Jimboomba. It has been built to cater for the educational and faith needs of the Jimboomba, Beaudesert and surrounding communities. About the role:

We are seeking a

Teacher Aide to work within the Student Services Team.


Our Student Services Team is a dynamic team which includes Support Teachers - Inclusive Education, Speech Pathologists and Guidance Counsellors working together to meet the diverse learning needs of students across all year levels.

You will be required to work in a classroom environment with students from Years 7 to 12.


About you:

- previous experience and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support
- proven communication and interpersonal skills
- a willingness to work as part of a team
- a high level of confidentiality

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
