We would like to hear from applicants who: Have a broad range of current industry experience in the Furnishing trade, including wood machining, joiner and cabinet making.
To become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold one of the following qualifications:

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus:
TAELLN411* or TAELLN401A*; and
TAEASS5028 or TAEASS502A* or TAEASS502B*; or
TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or
TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or
TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor; or
Higherlevel qualification in adult education.

OR
One of the following training and assessment credentials

TAESS00007 Enterprise Trainer
Presenting Skill Set; or

TAESS00014 Enterprise Trainer

Presenting Skill Set or its successor; or

TAESS00008 Enterprise Trainer

Mentoring Skill Set; or

TAESS00013 Enterprise Trainer

Mentoring Skill Set or its successor; or
TAESS00003 Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Set; or
TAESS00015 Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Set or its successor.
For those holding a TAE40110 these two additional units are required to be obtained to meet compliance requirements.

Salary

Teacher: $85, $96,376.42 gross per annum (TAFE Queensland Educators Certified Agreement 2023)

17.5% leave loading
4 weeks Recreation Leave (accrued annually)
5 weeks Non-Attendance Time (NAT) programmed annually for preparation
