You'll get to work on complex challenges with a team of experts in machine learning, robotics, data processing and software engineering.


Your role

About the Job

  • Product Strategy and Execution: Develop, communicate, and execute the product strategy and vision. Use technical skills to improve feature prioritization and planning, ensuring tech debt and new technology innovations are appropriately prioritized.
  • Technical Management: Oversee internal user tooling, manage the machine learning and data delivery pipeline, and handle the integration of Abyss Fabric with customer systems through APIs and other methods.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership: Act as a bridge between various teams within the organization. Lead "Ready for Dev" and "Ready for Test" meetings to foster a common understanding of deliverables.
  • Problem Identification and

Solution Design:
Identify business or product operation problems, devise technical solutions, and ensure their flawless execution. Look for process inefficiencies and work to streamline them in cooperation with the rest of the team.

  • Requirements and

Gap Analysis:
Gather business requirements, perform a gap analysis, and drive the identified gaps to closure. Validate the requirements from a technical perspective and add any non-technical requirements.


Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or similar would be a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology company.
  • Strong technical background in machine learning, data analytics, robotics, and sensor technology.
  • Experience managing internal user tooling, delivery pipelines (ML + Data), and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of the oil & gas industry and related regulatory environment would be beneficial.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience working in a startup or small company environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and driving product success.
  • Familiarity with asset integrity management and related best practices.
  • Understanding of environmental impact and sustainability practices in the industry.
