Description

• Operating large and small tractors, including implements and other farm machinery
• Maintenance of farm machinery and vehicles
• Operating forklifts and assisting with manual labour when required
• Identifying and reporting any health and safety hazards, incidents or near misses
• Irrigation and maintenance of irrigation systems
• Using LiveFarmer record management system
• Applicants should be prepared to work extended hours, weekends and public holidays

• 2-3 years' experience in the operation of large-scale farming plant and equipment (preferably John Deere series)
• Experience using tele handlers and backhoes
• The ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and selfmotivation
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken
• Current drivers licence
• Applicant will be required to perform agricultural spraying, so an Agricultural Chemical Users Permit is required
• Current forklift license
• Must be physically fit, with no limitations on activity
• Must have no current or preexisting back/neck issues that would prevent a full range of activity, and must be willing to complete a preemployment medical and drug test
