What you'll be doing


The CRC Administrative Officer provides high level administrative support to the Clinical Research Manager, Nurse Manager, Associate Director of Research and other staff of the Clinical Research Centre.

The Administrative Officer will work with other Clinical Research staff to ensure the timely, efficient and effective operation of key functions and activity conducted by the Clinical Research Centre.


  • Relevant postsecondary qualifications in business administration or equivalent relevant administrative experience in a health environment
  • Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, make decisions and work independently under limited direction, within the identified scope of the role
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to plan and meet multiple deadlines whilst under pressure
  • Knowledge of hospital management systems or computer software packages, including Microsoft Office, Stafflink, Recruitment On Board (ROB), HealthRoster, ORACLE, with the ability to learn new systems readily

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).

New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
