About the position


As the SIL Team Leader you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery to the participants.


Your role includes

  • Oversee the daily operations of our Supported Independent Living Home
  • Supporting the team in providing highquality services in line with participant care plans, goals, and outcomes.
  • Developing fortnightly rosters and implement effective rostering strategies to always ensure adequate staffing coverage.
  • Working with staff, participants, families, and other stakeholders to understand and resolve concerns.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conducting regular team meetings and monthly practice supervision to assess the performance of each team member.
  • Coordinating onsite support and reviewing incidents and complaints.
  • Ensuring staff work within Altido's Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures of the Quality Management System
  • Adhoc duties that may arise like stocking up on shopping items

To be considered for the position, you must have

  • Minimum 5 years experience in disability sector and a strong understanding of NDIS
  • Capacity to effectively lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve the best quality service outcomes.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, incorporating effective planning, time management, problemsolving, organisational skills, resourcing, and achieving quality outcomes.
  • Experience with behavioural management plans, restrictive practices and behaviours of concerns / high medical needs, manual handling, and medications
  • Empathy and passion to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
  • A sound understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework

About You

  • Relevant Qualification, Nursing Qualification highly advantageous
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Driver's License & own car
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Flexible availability
