About the position

As the SIL Team Leader you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery to the participants.

Your role includes

Oversee the daily operations of our Supported Independent Living Home
Supporting the team in providing highquality services in line with participant care plans, goals, and outcomes.
Developing fortnightly rosters and implement effective rostering strategies to always ensure adequate staffing coverage.
Working with staff, participants, families, and other stakeholders to understand and resolve concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Conducting regular team meetings and monthly practice supervision to assess the performance of each team member.
Coordinating onsite support and reviewing incidents and complaints.
Ensuring staff work within Altido's Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures of the Quality Management System
Adhoc duties that may arise like stocking up on shopping items

To be considered for the position, you must have

Minimum 5 years experience in disability sector and a strong understanding of NDIS
Capacity to effectively lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve the best quality service outcomes.
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, incorporating effective planning, time management, problemsolving, organisational skills, resourcing, and achieving quality outcomes.
Experience with behavioural management plans, restrictive practices and behaviours of concerns / high medical needs, manual handling, and medications
Empathy and passion to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
A sound understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework
