Role Overview


This is an exciting role for a driven marketer to play a key role in the continued and rapid growth of WaterWipes' revenue, profitability, and market share across the EMEA/ANZ Region, which is crucial to future growth.

Geographically, the role covers the ANZ market, which has been identified as a strategic market for WaterWipes and will form an important source of growth for the business in the next 2-5 years.

This role will report to the regional Australian team while working with the central Global teams. The Assistant Brand Manager must possess excellent communication skills and multitasking capabilities to manage projects within tight deadlines.

Organisational, project/budget management and administrative competencies are also necessary to keep the Brand department performing at a strategic level rather than just executional.

Continuously identifying opportunities to protect and grow market share.


Primary Responsibilities of the role:

Shopper Marketing: Bringing Mental & Physical availability together, remind baby HH shopper at fixture, Interrupt the light/non baby shopper outside the baby aisle, drive awareness and increase reach, gain distribution, expand usage occasions, premiumisation, create loyalty through added value, adding value for the shopper to buy into WaterWipes over Private Label

Driving Engagement:Build strong partnerships with the regional (sales) and central teams (brand, innovation) to establish a discipline of amplifying off-location, shopper opportunities and driving education of the brand superiority through relevant retailer activity

Actionable, meaningful measurement:Deliver and consistently review the regional performance dashboard across key shopper and category metrics to help identify the most impactful business drivers for growth. Measure KPI performance of initiatives across shopper activations, marketing and promotions to optimise our investment and identify patterns for repeatable growth.

Implementing Process and Administration - identify opportunity for developing processes and managing administrative tasks in the Brand department.


Required experience:


  • 12 years of FMCG Brand, Category and/or Shopper experience, ideally in the Australian market retailers like Coles, Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse
  • Bachelor's degree or similar in a related field (desirable)
  • Exposure to PO management and onthetools SAP knowledge is favourable but not essential.
  • Experience in Citrusad and Cartology is favourable
  • Experience working with bigger category and shopper data suppliers like Nielsen and IRI and/or previous experience of working with retailerspecific category data platforms like Quantium etc.
