Description

Our client is a Globally listed ASX company who provides technical resources and solutions. They employ over 400 people across IT Infrastructure, Applications Development, Cyber and Web Security, Service Delivery, Governance Risk & Compliance and Product Development who support their wider organisation.

Due to company growth, they now have an immediate requirement for a Cloud Engineer/F5 SME to support Network Application Delivery and Security. You will be working across BAU activities and enhancement projects, whilst bringing a best practice approach to this complex on-premise environment.

Create and assess network security architecture, design, configure, make recommendations

Engage internal stakeholders across operations and monitoring teams

Operationalisation of network and security elements in the cloud environment

Interpret and write complex F5 iRules

Scoping new solutions with third parties and vendors for network and security hardware and software

Plan and perform upgrades and patching activities About you:

Extensive enterprise level Engineering experience

Background working in large complex organisations providing advanced troubleshooting capability

F5 qualification and practical deep level skills in including design, implementation and support of solutions for network application delivery

Experience working in on-premise Data Centre (SDDC network security technology using F5, Checkpoint, Cisco and NSX)
