Description
We're looking for a passionate Spartacus Front End Developer to
join Best&Less Online team based in our Leichhardt offices.
Reporting into the Solutions Architect, the main purpose of the role
is to execute a clean, beautiful, functional front-end for Best&Less
Progressive Web App
To be considered for this position you will be a developer who has a
sense of urgency, great attention to detail, strong resilience, good
communication skills and flexibility to develop skill sets as per
business requirements


You will need development experience with:

  • Angular
  • SAP Commerce Spartacus Framework
  • Progressive Web App
  • JavaScript ES6 and ES
  • Preferably Angular framework or Vue, React
  • Headless commerce
  • SCSS and CSS3+
  • Bootstrap 4 CSS framework
- and NPM

  • Webpack
  • Gulp
  • Lodash JS framework
  • Google Maps API
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Analytics
  • Browser Stack
  • A/B testing with tools like Google Optimize
  • CD/CI experience on cloud services like AWS/Azure
- iOS & Android App development using frameworks like Swift, Kotlin

or Flutter


Here's the expected skill-set:


  • UI development skills
  • Able to code in native JavaScript without relying on jQuery
  • Can create animations and transitions in pure CSS
  • Familiar with code linting and working to code style standards
  • Has used JavaScript bundling tools + understands bundling and
loading strategies

  • Ability to debug complex JavaScript, e.g. with Google Chrome
Devtools

  • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix commands (e.g. directory
traversal, file permissions)

  • Ability to understand technical documentation

technologies:
Tomcat, WebSphere, Apache, Ngnix, Https, tcServer.

  • Experience with source control systems: Bitbucket/ Github
  • Experienced using collaboration tools such as JIRA / Confluence.
  • Good knowledge of design patterns and software development best
practices. Experience with Performance tuning, Unit testing,
Integration testing and assist in User-Acceptance Testing

mobile apps

  • CMS experience with a platform like hybris, CQ, etc
  • Ablility to deliver quality code along with NFRs like performance,
security and scalability


These are nice to have skill sets:

  • Java programming experience and ability to work with JSP files
  • Experienced working in retail industry
  • Design and CX experience for ecommerce websites
  • System scripting languages, e.g. bash, python
  • CD/CI process
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting
  • Understanding of web performance concepts
  • Have an opinion on emerging digital technology and web
architecture.

  • Have an understanding of security requirements to develop secure
services.

including requirements gathering, analysis and design,
development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance and
support.

  • Knowledge of development lifecycle best practices including
version control, QA, build/release management
