    The Full Stack Developer roles are based within our cloud platform division, partnering with
    other engineers, designers and product owners. We are a collaborative, multi-talented team, in
    a work environment that celebrates team wins.

    Our core technology stack is fully Typescript using NestJS with Express, Postgres, Angular 15,
    deployed using Github Actions into AWS. More than knowledge of specific technologies, we
    value eagerness to learn our tech stack and continually improve, work-life balance and
    customer focus – to support access to justice around the world.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver software which delights users that you can be proud of, with a focus on
      pragmatism, and delivering to the core user need
    • Participate in high level application design discussions, recommend relevant
      technologies including strengths and weaknesses and provide feedback
    • Participate in product discussions to clarify and ideate requirements and elaborate user
      stories
    • Provide support and mentoring to other developers on the team
    • Help to elaborate and follow development processes which enable the team to deliver
      timely and high-quality results
    • Maintain awareness of the impact on the FTR platform from any software developed,
      particularly with regards to integrity, reliability and fault tolerance
    • Provide Level 3 support where required

    About you

    Desirable experience and knowledge (or an appetite to learn about)

    • Working with and managing the growth of software with complex requirements
    • Development of SPAs/PWAs, using web-centric technologies with knowledge of
      frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue or others of the type
    • Developing HTTP-based APIs running inside Amazon Web Services, Docker, Cloud
      based architecture and patterns
    • Relational databases, indexes and query optimisation
    • Automated testing (unit, integration and e2e) paradigms and technologies
    • The application of code and deployment management tools, such as Git, GitHub and
      Jenkins
    • NodeJS and TypeScript
    • Experience with Media Codecs and Formats
    • Casual work environment
    • Working with latest technology (no legacy system to maintain)
