I'm Fiona, I'm 17 and I am currently living at college while I study full time at university. I have been working casual jobs since I was in year 8, while balancing high school and competitive dancing. I boarded at school since grade 10 as I come from property further North.

I am passionate about my degree; that is journalism and law and have been fully immersed in the college life since the academic semester has started. I love the social aspect of college, spending time with my friends and family. I am also passionate about the country and the lifestyle that my home provides. 

Over the years I have enjoyed many of the jobs I have worked in and developed many skills because of them. These include customer service skills, time management, work ethic, hands on jobs and problem solving. 

My most recent job I had was working full-time on a cattle property during the Christmas break, the company, Copper Cattle Co. Previous Christmas holidays I have worked on a lychee and avocado farm, the owner; Craig Van Rooyen. I worked on this farm each Christmas holidays from 2019 - 2021. I also have some retail experience from 2018 working in a family run florist in Bundaberg called One Little Farm. All of these jobs, particularly the farm work, taught me work ethic, time management skills and customer service working in the shop. 

Since I have been at college, I have done casual baby-sitting, although I am looking for a job that requires more hours. 

I just graduated from Somerville House in 2022. I am now currently studying a Bachelor of Law/Journalism (communications) at QUT.
