An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Health & Building Unit and learn how to ensure buildings are safe and healthy by investigating and resolving building non-compliances, including unauthorised uses, unauthorised building works, swimming pool barriers, boarding houses, fire safety risks, and non-compliances with development consents.

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Cadet Building Compliance Officer will work in a multidisciplinary team.


To be successful in the role, you will be studying a degree qualification in a relevant discipline and preferably be in your final year of studies.
