The Role


This role will report to the General Manager Change and Project Management and will be responsible for defining and supporting processes that improve portfolio information to enable accurate measurement and monitoring of key programs of work.

You will enable the Executive team and associated stakeholders to optimise, align and manage delivery risk at a portfolio level.

In this role you will provide a range of portfolio management and support services, including:

  • Developing portfolio reporting for Board, Executive and key leadership personnel, including delivery milestones, risks, financial performance and business benefits to enable the identification of potential impacts of delays across the portfolio, through stakeholder collaboration.
  • Monitoring portfolio plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established program management processes and raising any key risks to delivery.
  • Coordinating the establishment of business cases with key business leaders.
  • Coordinating reporting for prioritisation forums, enabling informed decisions to be made on project prioritisation.
  • Supporting and assisting with the coordination of program management forums and committees, providing ad
- hoc administrative support for meetings and/or committees, including preparing agendas, status reports, taking minutes and undertaking follow up work as requested.

  • Any other responsibilities in line with the level of the role as assigned by the General Manager
  • Change and Project Management.

Your Experience

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Program Management Analyst role, working within a Program Management Office.
  • Proven experience in reporting on and working within complex portfolios of work across multiple stakeholders, including information Technology.
  • High level analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in working with Agile tools and processes.
  • Strong Time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and professional communication skills.
