KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with senior stakeholders (both internal and external) to understand their business requirements and identify their challenges;
  • Developing scope of work and managing the delivery of analytics engagements
  • Delegating, supervising and supporting the development of team members
  • Designing, preparing and presenting the results of our analytics
  • Managing engagement economics
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with clients
  • Supporting business development initiatives and proposals
  • Providing excellent customer service and coaching your project teams to ensure they do the same
  • Building strong relationships both internally and in the market, and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients
  • Assisting with business development activities
  • Help in the development of analytic products, assets, and platforms; and
  • Assist in the development of analytics capability within the Data Analytics team and RSM more broadly.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

  • Degree in data science, mathematics or other quant disciplines;

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

  • 5+ years of handson data analytics, including:
  • Intermediate or better in SQL / data preparation
  • Intermediate or better in Python
  • Reporting design and development experience using Power BI
  • Proven background and track record of technical experience in data analysis and how this can be used to create value for a client
  • Exceptional communication skills, which you use to explain your analysis approach and insights to technical and nontechnical stakeholders at various levels from junior to Csuite
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills with the ability to credibly communicate, negotiate and influence strategic outcomes at C level executives
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience in managing engagement economics, including but not limited to budgeting, billing and fee management
  • The ability to inspire teamwork and responsibility with diverse engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services

Desirable

  • A passion for working with in the data analytics field and learning new technologies and skills;
  • Experience in working on wage remediation projects.
  • Experience in Data Management, including Data Governance and Data Quality
  • Experience in a professional services firm
