» Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage conflicting priorities in order to register, action, coordinate, and track formal correspondence, briefs and requests.

  • Show highlevel critical thinking and attention to detail to review complex and sensitive correspondence and briefing documents ensuring clear, accurate and professional responses with consistency in facts and messaging.
  • Provide feedback and advice to stakeholders across Planning Group on the preparation of written correspondence, processes, associated deadlines and user systems.
  • Effectively liaise, negotiate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Director-General, to ensure agreed service expectations are met.
  • Participate as an active member of the Office of the Deputy Director-General team, including an understanding and working knowledge of the functions of the broader team, to assist with staff absences, workload fluctuations and other tasks as requested by the Director, Office of the Deputy Director-General.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continual improvement of process and procedures, through onthejob learnings and as identified through working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
