Position Description
Working within the Loan Operations team as part of the Australian Global Banking Operations organisation, the role is responsible for critical administrative tasks supporting client's loan requirements, including;

  • Timely execution of loan drawdowns and rollovers
  • Liaison with internal Treasury department for accuracy in currency rates being applied
  • Review of client documentation to ensure alignment with bank policy
  • Reconciliation of daily/monthly reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing daily draw downs, rollovers and repayments
  • Monitoring of commitment fees & interest applied to loan portfolios
  • Extensive liaison with credit officers / treasury traders and finance control teams
  • Maintaining & updating loan portfolio files
  • Handling related internal / external enquiries
  • Investigate and resolve all kinds of payment related enquiries
  • Review credit documents against approved policies to ensure compliance
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager

Key Requirements

  • Knowledge of corporate lending
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written, communication and telephone skills.
  • Ability to work in high pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office).
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong customer service focus and high motivation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility with hours.
  • Selfstarter and takes personal ownership of work
  • Attention to detail.

Preferred Background

  • Twelve months experience in a domestic or international bank will be an advantage, especially with exposure to LoanIQ.
  • Experience within a similar role with financial services
  • Exposure to working in a team environment.
