About the role
We are seeking a

Primary Learning Leader (PLL) to support the engagement, learning progress and achievement of students in our school.

This is a fully released

_part time fixed term _appointment working collaboratively with the Support Teacher (ST:IE) across all year levels, supporting the diverse learning needs of our students.

You will have your own office, onsite parking, and a welcoming staff community looking forward to working with you.

  • The ability to work as a relief teacher at the school on the additional two days will be highly regarded._

In this key position you will:

  • Enhance teacher capacity and effectiveness
  • Model highquality teaching & learning and mentoring & coaching
  • Ensure improved educational outcomes for students and continuous school improvement
  • Lead and coordinate curriculum implementation
  • Promote effective teaching and improved achievement in all curriculum areas

About you

- To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:

  • strong knowledge and experience in implementing the Australian Curriculum
- capacity to develop interpersonal relationships, establish productive partnerships, and work as part of a team to lead change
- capacity to lead and manage activities which promote the engagement, learning progress and achievement of students
- success as a classroom teacher and commitment to professional development


At BCE our teachers are required to:

  • Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
  • Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Have a commitment to Safeguarding
