The Opportunity
My Client is seeking a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is VIT registered to join our team in 2023.

Applicants must also hold current qualifications in relevant ACECQA approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training.


Hours of work within the program will be
8:30am to 2:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with additional hours for planning.

Flexible arrangements can be made for planning hours.


Please note, the above hours will be your ongoing rostered hours. If these hours do not suit you, please do not apply.


The position will be available to commence in Term 1 of 2023 if you are successful and meet all criteria, having all legal requirements and qualifications met.


Kindergarten Program Operating Hours
Monday: 9:00am to 2:00pm

Tuesday: 9:00am to 2:00pm

Wednesday: 9:00am to 2:00pm


Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Assessed).
  • Hold full or provisional VIT registration.
  • Hold a current First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate.
  • Hold a Current Working with Children's Check.
  • Mandatory Reporting Training Certificate (preferred but can complete upon commencement)
  • Have a strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Be knowledgeable about theories, pedagogy and the relevant learning frameworks
  • In practice experience in teaching within a early childhood teaching role
  • Police check, not more than 6 months old.

Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Develop, plan and implement quality educational programs for the funded 3 year old Kindergarten children in consultation with the Educational Leader and Educators.
  • Assist children with their daily routines & support them in their learning.
  • Create a stimulating environment to foster & support children's development.
  • Have a strong, confident, and motivated personality with an ambition to provide education and care standards of excellence.
  • Showcase strong leadership abilities while supporting a team of Educators with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, empowerment, and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain open and effective communication channels with staff, children and families of the centre.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information, & working as a team player.
  • Follow and implement the centres policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
  • Interact and care for children with respect
  • Maintain a positive professional working relationship with team members.
  • Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and welldeveloped emotional intelligence. You must be a reliable, outgoing person who has lots of initiative.
  • Be skilled at supporting educators of varying abilities and learning styles
  • Plan, work and manage time effectively.
  • Be approachable
