Your Responsibilities will include, but not be Limited to:

  • Assemble and install machinery, ensuring precise alignment and optimal functionality.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to maximise equipment uptime and performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly, implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and production teams to optimise equipment performance.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Your Requirements will also consist of:

  • Proven track record as a Mechanical Fitter within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals with ease.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant technical certifications or qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Certificate III in Engineering.

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 50 per week


Salary:
$ $55.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Fitter: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Maintenance Fitter Trade (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Thomastown, VIC 3074: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
