We have an exciting opportunity


For an Accounts Payable & Employment Fund Support Officer to join the team at IntoWork Australia, to work effectively and collaboratively with the Finance team across the IntoWork Australia Group.

The role can be based at our Northcote, Vic or Milton, Qld offices with hybrid working arrangements available. This is a fixed term position for a 12 month term.

The Role:

The Accounts Payable Officer role works with the Finance team across the IntoWork Australia national group.

The role involves day to day Accounts Payable duties including raising purchase orders, verifiying invoices, reconciling supplier statements, plus specialist support with Employment Fund transactions:

ensuring tax invoices comply with ATO guidelines, uploading, validating & processing invoices, reimburseing of invoices under Employment Fund guidelines.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role.

  • A certificate III or a certificate IV in Accounting (desired)
  • Experience with Employment Fund and the Workforce Australia contract is
    essential:
  • Proficiency in a recognised accounting software package is essential, with knowledge of Arrow Accounting Package, D365 BC & Microsoft Business Central considered advantageous
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential particularly in Excel
  • Ability to work across multiple organisations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
  • High level of personal initiative
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Ability to analyse problems and present solutions to complex issues
  • Proactive customer service skills
