The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.


Duties

Building Projects provides advisory and management services to assist all State government agencies manage the construction, replacement, refurbishment or demolition of buildings.


The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating sub projects and supporting the project management team in the delivery of major building projects and client agency programs, involving complex and/or politically sensitive and/or risk management to time, cost and quality and ensuring projects meet the objectives and requirements of the government and client agencies.


This role includes coordinating contract administration including program advice and planning, site surveillance, variations, claims and progress payments, technical project contract preparation, tender evaluation and service provider relationship management.


Requirements:

Technical or construction related qualification is not essential but preferred.


Special Conditions
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel may be required.

Temporary appointment up to 2 years

Remuneration
ASO4 - $74,315 to $77,901 per annum
