DELIVERY DRIVER AND WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
We are a hire company supplying equipment to the construction and insurance sectors. Our equipment includes a wide range of products from temporary fencing to tarpaulins, generators, pumps and everything in-between. Standard hours for this position being Monday to Friday 6.30am - 2.30pm.

There will be the requirement to work outside of these hours from time and time and requirement to work on a rotating weekend roster which is essential.

You will be paid additional if you are required to work outside of your normal hours.

THE JOB

Using a company vehicle, phone and fuel card, you will deliver and collect equipment from various sites as required including the delivery, erect and dismantling of temporary fencing, small pumps, tarps etc.

When there are no deliveries you will be required to assist in the functioning of the warehouse, cleaning of equipment returned and general warehouse maintenance to ensure a clean, function and safe place for staff and clients at all times.

Each of these aspects requires the person to be able to build and maintain strong relationships with all clients both over the phone and face-to-face.

We are extremely proud to have long standing clients which is due to the relationships and service every staff member provides.

The successful applicant will use a company car, fuel card and company mobile phone.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Someone with good physical fitness and strength this is a MUST as you need to be able to erect and dismantle temporary fencing as required
• Proactive and able to take the initiative
• Exercise good common sense in every aspect of the role
• Willingness to learn and be reliable and trustworthy
• Be able to work a weekend rotating roster (average of one weekend per month) your weekend oncall will consist of being "oncall" only to work that weekend if required not to come in unless called. It is therefore essential the rostered weekends that you are available.

MUST HAVE OR BE PAPARED TO OBTAIN

• Current White/red card
• Police Check and Driving Check

$ $25.00 per hour
