Food / Raw Material Supply Planning:
Based at our Head Office in Mentone /Moorabbin
We now have an opportunity for a Supply Planner to join our planning team, based at our head office in Mentone/Moorabbin.
Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, you will manage the planning process for the supply of vegetable from our manufacturing plant in Bathurst, New South Wales.
The category includes current and future new product introduction. The role will also require coordination with our NSW Agricultural Services team.What you will do:
Key to your role is your ability to understand processes, key material suppliers, crewing structures and seasonal supply factors. You will also link through to the needs of our Agricultural Services team and other key suppliers.
- This is a handson role where you will work alongside our Agricultural Services team and the Bathurst manufacturing plant to balance supply requirements and their capacity and capability to deliver.
- Stakeholder management, leading conversations and quick decisionmaking.
- Identify improvements in planning and supply chain processes that enhance key performance results such as service levels, inventory performance and cost.
- Identify opportunities to improve our planning process
About you:
- Substantial supply chain planning experience in Food or related FMCG industry.
- Ideally an exposure to the Agricultural industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop crossfunctional relationships.
- Experience with Advanced Planning Systems.
- Strong understanding of Master Planning concepts and execution processes (logistics, customer service, and deployment).
- Analytical and modelling skills enabling sound financial decision making.
- Ability to build credibility and influence within the site and broader organisation at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Fast learner able to pick things up quickly.
