The Communications and Content Specialist is responsible for working collaboratively to produce 'centre ready' campaigns, projects and initiatives to ensure Goodstart's centre-based teams have the information they need to provide high quality early learning.


Reporting to the Lead - Communications and Issues, this role requires the Communications and Content Specialist to provide expert strategic advice on communications; supports the flow of fit for purpose, timely information to Goodstart's national network of centre teams and centre support.

It is essential to a deliver a "superior Goodstarter experience," through effectively telling the Goodstart Story and its critical messages to our people.

Your Impact;

Bring strong analytical and data skills to help the broader team to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication campaigns and adjust plans accordingly.

Use all available communication tools, including digital and social media platforms, to ensure Centre Leaders are informed, engaged and can take the action required in a timely and efficient manner.

Design and establish automated, logic - based communication systems to communicate monitor and track uptakes across the organisation.
Review existing communication channels to understand audience, readership, impact, cut through, frequency and return on investment.
Solve problems and make sound judgement to make complex decisions through high based technical knowledge and expertise.
Strong communication skills to 'run' with a project once briefed in a creative and innovative way.
Be passionate about providing centre - based teams the information they need to provide high quality early learning.

You'll bring to the table;
Hold a degree in a related field.


Essential: 5 years plus experience in the development and delivery of communications and use of digital systems in a national or complex organisation.
Highly conversant with digital and social media platforms.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Be highly motivated, collaborative and excel at working in multi - disciplinary teams.
