BlueRock's Law division is rapidly growing, and we are seeking a
Legal Assistant to provide high level paralegal and research support to the team Due to growth and team progression, we are looking for two Legal Assistants, supporting our Family Law and Commercial Law teams.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, well-suited to someone who is in their final years of study and looking for to gain great legal experience within an innovative, tech-savvy environment

What you'll be doing:


  • Providing general paralegal support to directors and lawyers, including diary management of directors
  • Undertaking legal research
  • Preparing documentation and correspondence
  • Handling and responding to client queries on behalf of directors
  • Managing confidential firm information
  • Coordinating and supporting the team with tasks and duties

As part of a modern multi-disciplinary professional services firm, you will be collaborating with a variety of experienced accountants, financial planners, brokers and digital experts.

Day to day support is provided by an executive leadership team and its corporate services staff as part of a dynamic, fun Melbourne CBD office that includes a number of co-located clients.


Requirements:


  • Previous experience and/or exposure to the leagl sector is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with other team members and step in to support others
