Description:
This role leads a team of Cabin Cleaning staff and assists the relevant Head of Ground Handling in the delivery of cabin cleaning services to Airline customers.
- Deliver Cabin Cleaning services on behalf of Star Aviation's customers, ensuring compliance and safety regulations are always met to the highest standards.
- Ensure that KPIs are met, timesheets are accurate and complete final check and signoff ahead of client invoicing.

- Maintain Cabin Cleaning service performance standards.
- Represent both the Airline and Star to the highestlevel ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Prepares and completes each shift operational, safety, GSE and other summary reports as directly relating to services undertaken during that shift.
- Liaises with Airline representatives for specific requirements that may arise from time to time.
- Arranges the delivery of lost property items to Airline representatives.
- Ensure the safe and secure operation of all equipment and associated costs for repair and maintenance.
- Report equipment malfunction to the Head of Ground Handling.
- Test all relevant equipment for serviceability before commencement of every shift and record results as per standard operating procedures.
- Plan and manage resources to ensure operational efficiency.
- Allocate and rotate staff on aircraft for cleaning and manage replacement or redeployment of team members.
- Ensure team members are skilled and trained in the various disciplines.
- Time sheet approval.
- Manage breaks and other absences from the shift in accordance with policy.
- Demonstrate appropriate leadership by leading by example.
- Work as part of the team to ensure compliance with the contractual obligations.
- Ensure yourself and team members act in accordance Star Aviation guidelines, policies and Code of Conduct.
- Lead and drive a safety culture in the team, ensuring compliance with both the Airline, Airport and/or Star Aviation requirements.
- Manage the performance of team members in line with Company policies and procedures.
- Deliver training to the relevant standards ensuring staff are competent in their roles.
Skills and Experiences:
Essential
- Prior experience leading and managing a team.
- A valid provisional or full driver license.
- A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- A valid Authority to Drive Airside Card (ADA).
- Senior First Aid Training.
Skills:
- Competent in the operational requirements of Ground Handling
- Understanding of the Aviation Industry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Customer focus to deliver exceptional service.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.
- Able to work well in a fastpaced team environment.
- Health and Safety Training.
- Manual Handling procedures.
- Fire Warden Training.
- Ability to resolve conflicts.
- Capable of Incident Report writing, in plain and clear English.
- Intermediate skills for Microsoft Office Suite.
