Our client is a global market leader with strong roots in Western Australia. They provide a bespoke range of software solutions to improve the safety of hazardous materials.

Through their tailored solutions, they can perform Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRAs) to assess the total risk of storing, handling, and transporting dangerous substances in process, chemical and petrochemical facilities.

Following exciting growth plans, they are now seeking a Sales Manager to join their close-knit team in Perth.


As Sales Manager, you will report directly into the Regional Sales Manager and be responsible for developing new business with Consultancies, Chemical, Petrochemical and O&G organisations.

You will ideally utilise your existing network in this space to generate leads and close sales with key stakeholders including process & reliability engineers and safety personnel.

You will oversee the route to market with a keen focus on digital marketing and inbound lead generation to organically grow customer base.

You will spend time qualifying leads, presenting to key stakeholders and work closely with the Product Manager to secure new business.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Develop new business within Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Chemical & Petrochemical industries.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders in a complex sales process
  • Manage your clients through the sales cycle
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to identify new opportunities and trends
  • Attend conferences and events to represent the brand and generate leads
  • Oversee route to market including digital marketing and inbound lead generation
Qualifications/ Knowledge and skill


This is a critical hire for a global business seeking to expand their market share in Australia and the wider APAC region.

To be successful in this role, you will have had experience in a software sales environment and ideally have a technical background from a Chemical or Mechanical environment.
