Service Delivery Support Officer

Location - Parramatta, Sydney

Employment type - Ongoing full-time

Salary - ($89,707 pa - $98,982 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role


We are looking for an outstanding individual to join a team of specialists responsible for the product operations of customer centric websites and intranet for the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).


In this role, you will ensure that the digital experience roadmap of the department's websites and intranet is aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives and NSW Government design standards to deliver customer service excellence.


Reporting to the Senior Service Delivery Officer, Product Operations you'll assist in the implementation of service delivery strategies, standards, governance frameworks to support operational maintenance of the DCJ websites and intranet.


What you'll do


The Service Delivery Support Officer is a key customer support role for assisting the delivery of product operations spanning the department's websites and intranet across multiple content management systems.

This role supports system administration of the content management systems, capability uplift of the content publishers, providing technical advice, managing technical quality assurance, change management and communications, coordinating pipeline of continuous improvement activities and triaging and resolution of websites and intranet issues.


You will communicate, influence, collaborate, and engage with a variety of stakeholders, ranging from technical partners, senior staff, external vendors and program teams to help design and deliver high quality digital services that meet evolving priorities.


The Communications team works collaboratively within Corporate Services to develop strategies, plans and resources that contribute to the department achieving its strategic objectives.

The team works across digital and traditional communication channels, including print, social media, online (websites and intranet), events and face-to-face to deliver communication strategy that is aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives and NSW Government Design Standards.

The Digital Experience team is responsible for managing the DCJ websites and intranet. Through these channels we provide an inclusive, consistent, high-quality digital experience for our clients and customers.


What we're looking for
Someone who is a capable and dedicated professional looking to join a fast-paced environment and has experience in managing competing priorities, working with multiple stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes within tight timeframes


You will bring:
- a positive, results-driven and can-do attitude with experience working in cross-functional, agile delivery teams within a business-as-usual environment
- demonstrated experience in a service delivery support role, with a comprehensive understanding of websites and intranet delivery within a business-as-usual environment
- creative problem solving, effective written and verbal communication skills for delivering customer centric digital outcomes
- stakeholder engagement skills to communicate and collaborate with teams across the department to design and deliver appropriate solutions
- mindset to wear different hats and pitch in where needed in a complex and at time ambiguous environment to deliver services within the constraints of time and budget.
