Based in Wacol, our client is a subsidiary to the world's largest tyre and rubber company. Their tyres are renowned for long life and outstanding performance and specifically designed to endure the harshest conditions.

Day Shift 7:00am 3:30pm

- $41.18 p/h

Ongoing, Monday to Friday + OT

Right now they are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join their team

About the role:

Identify faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime
Inspect, test and maintain machinery and equipment
Perform general preventative maintenance work and condition assessments
Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all company workplace health and safety guidelines
Provide feedback on mechanical maintenance issues

Skills and Experience Needed:

Trade qualification in Fitting, Turning and Machining is essential
Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience is desirable
At least 1 year experience as a trade qualified fitter preferred
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
General understanding of production planning and manufacturing practices
Able to identify maintenance issues and provide accurate solutions
Strong problem solving, analytical skills
Experience with repair and maintenance of various machinery & equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
