About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
-
Plant Operator to join our team on a unique and interesting project on one of Adelaide's metropolitan beaches. This is a full time position initially employed on a fixed 12 month contract with the opportunity to convert to an ongoing contract for the right person.

Your ability to build relationships is essential as you will be joining a small close knit team. A can do attitude who is happy to pitch in and get things done will see you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities include

Safely operate a 35T Excavator & Tractor Land Plane to meet the required production rate and daily targets
Undertake production and offseason maintenance and inspections as required
Carry out scheduled and unscheduled day works as required
Identify and report any potential or immerging issues or damage on mobile and fixed plant
Adherence to all requirements of the Operation Management Plan and Principal Project requirements.
Ability to work in a safe manner at all times and comply with all Safety Regulations and requirements
Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including Clients and the General Public
Assist the Supervisor in daily operations of the Sand Collection Cell, including overseeing of contract labor as required
Assist the Supervisor in training and competency assessment of contract labor as required
Ensure start cards are used and filled out appropriately for every task performed

About you

:

This is a physical job, therefore you must be fit and healthy and be able to undertake manual labouring duties as required.
You must hold a current HR (Heavy Rigid) license
LE or equivalent Excavator Ticket
Min 5 years Bulk earthworks or Similar experience operating 30~35T excavator
Basic mechanical knowledge
Dogman or Riggers Ticket
Working at heights Ticket
Car License
Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others.
Basic Computer Skills
