Building Services- Sydney, NSW- Full TimeDue to recent promotions, we are seeking two security technicians/installers to join a tier-two Security contractor here in Sydney.

Ideally, they are looking for 1 x Junior and 1 x senior Installers, the junior security installer with 1-2 years experience and seeking a career in the Electronic Security space, and the senior installer having 4+ years.

The senior role has the opportunity to go straight off the tools into a project role. Either straight away or a 6month transition depending on experience.

‍Responsibilities**:
‍

Onsite quality control.
Adjust the sensitivity of units based on room structures and manufacturers' recommendations, using programming keypads.
Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; then position and terminate cables, wire, and strapping.
Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.

Selection Criteria:
‍

12 years experience in a similar position for a Junior Technician role and 4+ years for the Senior Tech/Junior PM position.
Experience in both residential and commercial is preferred.
NSW Driver's License.
