The Role_**An opportunity exists to join the Infinite team as a Maintenance Officer on a full time basis at our aged care facilities in Cornubia.

You will be working as part of a team that takes great pride in the work that they do to maintain the facility.

Day to day duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertake general day to day maintenance activities to a high standard in accordance with Infinite standards, plans and guidelines
  • Ensure all emergency, preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
  • When required oversee and coordinate any required contractors working on site
  • Ensure smooth day to day running of all maintenance requirements at the facility
  • Provide IT support as required within the highspec facility
  • Exceptional client service skills are important to ensure success in the role
  • Flexibility to undertake a wide scope of activities including but not limited to: landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs; waste removal; painting and test and tagging.

_ About You_

  • Previous gardening and maintenance experience is a must
  • Previous experience in aged care or similar facility would be highly desirable
  • Thorough understanding of facility services including gas, water and power mains and isolation requirement
  • Familiarisation and practice within a strict code of WHS requirement
  • You will need to be a selfstarter with excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise tight work schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and continuously improve maintenance operations
  • Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multitask
  • Professional, enthusiastic and friendly manner
  • Positive 'can do' attitude will ensure your success in this important role.
