About the role


As an Electrical Technician you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of technical works encompassing the maintenance, construction, inspection, and operation of equipment related to energy Transmission and Distribution systems.


Experience

  • Application of Electrical Technician trade skills in the energy Transmission and Distribution environment
  • Experience in selecting, testing, fault finding, repair and maintenance of Electrical infrastructure
  • Performing High and Low Voltage switching and permit issues

Skills

  • Ability to work effectively during times of unplanned events
  • Ability to work both autonomously and with others in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills appropriate for the role Sound interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with stakeholders and customers in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (plus Qualified Supervisors Certificate) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
  • Drivers Licence
  • Qualified Supervisors Certificate
  • WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role.
