An opportunity to join the Perioperative Team at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital is available to support the clinical teams. This include assisting with all the resources to ensure the patient's surgical journey has the best outcome

What you'll be doing


The role includes arranging appointments for perioperative optimisation, liasing with company representatives for equipment and stocktake maintenance, procurement of consumables and equipment and assisting with administration and data for workforce and national standards.

  • Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or has equivalent work experience.
  • Selfmotivated with ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Capacity to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a dynamic team, in a high volume, demanding work environment.
  • Excellent team skills and able to work effectively in a busy multiskilled team environment.
  • Computer literacy with advanced knowledge and practical skills with computer and internetbased software, with high level of accuracy in word processing, data entry, and minute taking skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving skills, and ability to prioritise tasks.
