Great Southern Bank is seeking a passionate
Learning & Development Business Partner to join our team based in our brand-new South Yarra Hub.

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, you will play a vital part in developing and executing our enterprise Learning strategy, aligning it with our business objectives and organisation-wide change initiatives.

As a trusted advisor with strong partnering abilities, you will deliver engaging digital and blended learning solutions that enhance the employee experience and drive enterprise capability uplift.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic capability and learning plans by closely partnering with key business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with divisions and departments.
  • Collaborate with the broader Learning & Development team to identify and deliver highend and tactical learning solutions that align with our learning needs and business outcomes.
  • Deliver highly engaging, dynamic and impactful learning programs that enable learners to build capability and thrive in their daytoday roles.
  • Endtoend program management of learning initiatives including ownership of key metrics that evidence impact and value, resulting in business performance improvement.
  • Provide high touch learning support for functional leaders within their portfolios.

What you will need

  • 35 years of experience across all phases of the Learning & Development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Strong business partnering abilities with excellent influencing, negotiation, coaching and communication skills demonstrated at all levels of the business.
  • Advanced analytical skills and strategic thinking capability.
  • Experience in gathering requirements, writing learning briefs and conducting Learning Needs Analyses in complex environments.
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, managing multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Experience within an operations, sales, customer service and contact centre environment.
  • Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) (experience with Cornerstone product is highly desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or formal qualification in Adult Learning.
