Adecco is currently seeking an afternoon Toolmaker to commence with a manufacturing company in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.


Client Details


Our client is a leading South Australian steel manufacturer and engineering solutions company based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Working on an afternoon shift with a pay rate of $48.65, with an early finish on a Friday and plenty of overtime available.


Description

  • Ongoing maintenance, repair, replacement of tooling and components
  • Machine, fit and assemble a range of parts and components
  • Set up and operate machine tools
  • General upkeep of equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Profile
To Be successful you must be

  • Trade qualified
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience using lathes, surface grinding equipment, general tool room equipment, hand tools, and measuring devices
  • Understanding of different types of tool steels machining requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar environment
