Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination and estimates of program effort, as well as providing status, and remaining effort for overall program.
  • Maintaining engineering plans and procedures to meet the requirements of the program.
  • Provision and planning of engineering resources including the direction and guidance for use of engineering tools.
  • Supporting or leading major reviews including those with the customer and subcontractors.
  • Support execution of specialty engineering areas including configuration management, system safety, security and certification.
  • Subcontractor oversight, review and acceptance of deliverables.
  • Identify and escalate program risks using defined processes.
  • Mentoring junior team members to build team skills in systems engineering methodology, as well as the required tools and procedures

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent degree.
  • 8 years' experience in Systems Engineering or Engineering Management.
  • Experience working within an Agile development environment (desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders at client, peer, supplier and senior leadership levels.
  • Knowledge of project management milestones coupled with the ability to work autonomously or with mínimal supervision to deliver completed work according to scheduled commitments.
  • Available to undertake travel where necessary to meet requirements of the role
