Key Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination and estimates of program effort, as well as providing status, and remaining effort for overall program.
Maintaining engineering plans and procedures to meet the requirements of the program.
Provision and planning of engineering resources including the direction and guidance for use of engineering tools.
Supporting or leading major reviews including those with the customer and subcontractors.
Support execution of specialty engineering areas including configuration management, system safety, security and certification.
Subcontractor oversight, review and acceptance of deliverables.
Identify and escalate program risks using defined processes.
Mentoring junior team members to build team skills in systems engineering methodology, as well as the required tools and procedures

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent degree.
8 years' experience in Systems Engineering or Engineering Management.
Experience working within an Agile development environment (desirable).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders at client, peer, supplier and senior leadership levels.
Knowledge of project management milestones coupled with the ability to work autonomously or with mínimal supervision to deliver completed work according to scheduled commitments.
Available to undertake travel where necessary to meet requirements of the role
