Intensive Care Unit

The Intensive Care Unit is a state-of-the-art facility with 29 beds and cares for over 3000 patients per year.


As a member of our Intensive Care Unit, you will work alongside and assist our clinicians who provide complex and multi-disciplinary care to a broad range of patients including; liver transplant, spinal, thoracic, cardiac surgery, ECMO, neuro-surgery, general medicine and liver failure.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Health Pateint Services (or working towards):


  • Willing to work in a hospital environent with unwell people:

Willing to carry out all PSA tasks and duties:


  • Work as a part of a team with a flexible attitue:

Able to use initiative, prioritise tasks and problem solve:


  • Physically capable of undertaking the full range of PSA duties:

Basic verbal and written English skills
