Joining our growing bookkeeping team, this part-time position is right for a dynamic person-centred person who is committed to excellence and detail in the work that they do.

You will be assisting our Senior Bookkeeper in completing our client's monthly and quarterly obligations, with an emphasis on attention to detail, and dedication to completing all work assigned to you in an efficient and precise manner.

So, what does a typical day in the life of a Bookkeeper look like? While we can guarantee no two days will be the same, this could be you...


  • Work closely with our Senior Bookkeeper on processing a large volume of monthly and quarterly BASs and IASs including the preparation of appropriate workpapers;
  • Process superannuation contributions and payments for clients in a timely manner;
  • Set up new clients and manage the transfer of existing clients to cloud accounting platforms;
  • Bookkeep client's software programs and/or ledgers while understanding basic accounting knowledge;
  • Prepare all aspects of the payroll function including processing wages and superannuation, calculating payasyougo withholding and lodging single touch payroll for a broad range of clients;
  • Register clients for WorkCover and/or payroll tax and prepare and lodge yearly and monthly declarations and returns; and
  • Additional tasks may include data entry, reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable management.

Key selection criteria

  • Excellent personal presentation required;
  • Experience using some of the following: Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Excel ;
  • Ability to work unsupervised while being able to determine what should be brought to other internal team members' attention ;
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritise deadlines;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Previous bookkeeping and/or accounting experience a plus; and
  • Rights to work in Australia

Salary + Applying
Salary will be paid commensurate with experience, but an indicative commencement range would be
$60,000 - $75,000, pro-rata.
