About the role

Bunnings is re-imagining how it does Digital and will be focusing on developing an in-house Digital Team. This is a rare opportunity to be one of the first founding team members of the Bunnings Digital Delivery Team to shape our tech, how we work and team culture. We have lofty ambitions to be a leading Digital House in Australia that works on great tech, with a talented and supportive team all under one of Australia largest brand and online audience in Australia.

As a Delivery Lead you will be a key part the squad's leadership where you are accountable for the team's health, sentiment and performance of your team. Using the latest agile best practice methods within your cross functional team, you will be responsible for team delivery of product development and execution of tech debt work.

  • You will have direct management of up to 6 team members
  • Managing iterations, scope, priorities, stakeholders, risks, issues and timelines.
  • Using delivery metrics to continuously improve and optimise ways of working
  • Accountable for end to end delivery of multiple product initiatives using agile methods in cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Close collaboration with product and design to ensure new initiatives are explored, designed and ready for delivery
  • About you

    You will have advance coaching skills and strong experience in implementing agile best practices into teams that foster a strong team culture. You will come with experience in leading technology projects using agile methodologies and have a passion for seeing individuals and teams succeed.

  • Advanced experience in agile software delivery and related concepts.
  • Developed leadership, coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and complex distributed systems.
  • Technical experience in software development projects as a developer, scrum master, business analyst or similar highly desirable.
