About the role Every day you get to make a difference to someone's life Take ownership of the process from initial appointment through to post employment support The Youth Employment Consultant role would see you creating and identifying unique individual employment opportunities for participants You will support young participants with complex needs to address barriers to employment and achieve their ultimate goal of obtaining and maintaining long term stable employment You will be working with a range of participants in the Transition to Work program operating within our customer centred service delivery model. The best part about assisting a participant is you get to support the participant along their journey and share in the positivity that employment brings. Maternity leave contract position until August 2021 Is this you Do you like helping young people achieve their career goals Ability to relate and interact with individuals with complex barriers Ability to act on own initiative and follow policy guidelines Can strike up a conversation with anyone Have excellent Reverse Marketing and Cold Calling Skills Can think on your feet and adapt to challenging situations Are you a self-driven, motivated person who can work autonomously and achieve set goals Have strong administration skills, chasing goals and communicating with wide range of people Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business targets and KPIs Currently hold a valid driver's licence A current Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent is a mandatory requirement for this position. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
