As part of P&C, the Learning and Development (L&D) team is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). This team leads the delivery of high quality learning programs across all areas of Transport, providing learning opportunities that enable people to have greater opportunity to thrive at work. About the team

The opportunity

Right now, we have 3 x opportunities for Project Officers to join the Learning Quality and Design directorate. The primary objective of the Project Officer is to manage, support and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of a diverse range of projects to achieve positive outcomes for Learning Quality and Design and L&D as a whole.

The role will be responsible for tasks such as scheduling meetings with the business, developing project plans and documentation, coordinating project budgetfinance, assisting with briefing notes and meeting reporting requirements.

About you

We are looking for self-managing professionals who are skilled in project management and methodologies. You have experience delivering in line with a project lifecycle and demonstrate capability in the coordination of project budgetsfinance. You also possess an aptitude for technical systems and project management tools.

You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced and often multi-project work environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience to adapt as circumstances evolve. You’re an analytical and strategic thinker, with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to connect the dots. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you know how and when to manage stakeholders to drive the desired outcome. You are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 7A ($103,965) – 7E ($116,441) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
