Urgent requirement of DevOps Integration Software Engineer - Permanent -  Melbourne

Requirements

• Experience with multiple platforms including Windows Server, Unix/Linux and IBM Mainframe
  
• Experience administration and support of multiple platforms as above
  
• Detailed knowledge of Windows Server technologies (e.g. Group Policy, Active Directory, Networking configuration, etc)
  
• Experience working with in a Cloud Environment
  
• Specific experience, provisioning instances, setting-up & maintaining environments (software stack, refresh application components, configuration management, scripting).
  
• Exposure to DevOps, Jenkins, Source control management, scripting languages, Java application management exposure
  
• Demonstrated Leadership, initiative and willingness to innovate.
  
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  
• Ability to work independently or within a team framework, in varying customer environments and provide subject matter expertise to team members as required
  
• Strong time management, workload management and organizational skills
  

Prior experience with the following is compulsory for this role:

• Windows Networking
  
• Mainframe COBOL, CICS and Db2 programming skills.
  
• Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (Db2, XDB)
  
• Knowledge of platform enablers such as Micro Focus and CICS
  
• Knowledge of Jenkins
  

Prior experience with the following is optional but beneficial for this role:

• Python and Windows Scripting
  
• Knowledge of SoapUI, Java, JSON, web services, XML
  
• Knowledge of Web technologies (javascript, html, css)
