The role of Materials Coordinator will see you working from our client's Perth CBD office working Monday to Friday and responsible for handling all planning and coordination of materials for major turnaround project.


Key Responsibilities

  • Issuing, handling, and management of materials to support major turnaround project
  • Interpret schedules to ensure that realistic milestones are established, required activities occur on time, and that interface between activities is maintained
  • Communicating with suppliers to ensure that materials are packed and delivered in accordance with Company procedures and requirements
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders, ensuring that relevant personnel are kept informed on progress of material deliveries
  • Reviewing and maintaining material receiving reports against shipping documents to verify that material has been received, and initiating followup actions when required
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and completed to a high standard

  • Previous experience in a similar materials role, preferably in an oil and gas shutdown environment
  • High attention to detail with a methodical approach
  • A strong focus on delivery, working to ensure tight deadlines are met
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong teamoriented approach
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
