The Role
You are Head of Technology, Global Testing Delivery reporting to the Executive, Delivery Orchestration.

As a HO Technology, Global Testing Delivery you will be leading of a team of 10-12 team members to build and enhance workforce models across the Global Testing Delivery Team in order to provide accurate, timely and best practice workforce management insights and capacity planning.


Your opportunity

  • The HO Technology, Global Testing Delivery will provide strategic leadership and direction to the Quality Engineering delivery teams.
  • Lead the cultural shift, reestablish and maintain the Quality Engineering global brand that characterizes Expert Engineering and Delivery Excellence.

The Role and Day to day will include

  • Lead a large global team of quality engineers; coach and develop your team to be high performing; encourage and promote diversity and act as a role model to enable, engage and motive the team to perform at their highest level.
  • Innovate and embed QE practices that deliver customer value, whilst monitoring and tracking the effectiveness of your strategy across services and platforms.
  • Establish strong working relationships with the senior leaders and owners of technical services across the enterprise, and ensure that the right people, processes, and tools are available to meet the highest level of service and support their roadmap.
  • Lead the cultural shift within NAB to enhance the technology strategy, particularly expert engineering and delivery excellence.
  • Be an effective Global leader and change agent to inspire speed to value technology improvements.
  • Drive engineering effectiveness, productivity improvements and efficiencies for the technology organization.
  • Ensure full compliance with any and all relevant regulatory requirements, operational and credit risk frameworks, and internal policies, standards and controls
  • Ensure appropriate controls are activated and embedded into all key processes.
  • Fully leverage structured and unstructured data to drive the most effective decisionmaking across all aspects of technology in Banking ledger strategy.

What you will bring

  • 10+ years' experience technology leadership role with accountability for managing large teams.
  • Experience in leading cultural change with passion for delivery excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor who influences outcomes with senior executives/stakeholders and/or mitigates issues to achieve outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple issues and stakeholders, while working in a dynamic, cross functional and collaborative team environment
  • Experience in agile execution will be preferred.
  • Experience across a broad range of technologies, with demonstrated indepth experience in at least one technical area.
  • Develops and maintains a broad perspective; understands and considers issues in the context of overall market, customer, and business strategies
  • A genuine interest and passion for technology, with a growth mindset and willingness to learn and selfdevelop.
  • Sound understanding of Cloud technologies.
